The Western Wall Tunnels

Walk the length of the hidden Western Wall — 2,000 years old — as it runs deep beneath the Muslim Quarter. We pass the colossal Herodian stones, including one of the largest building stones ever set by human hands, and stand at the point closest to where the Temple once stood. This is the essential, awe-first encounter with the Wall almost no one sees.

The 3,000-year-old core where Jerusalem began. We descend into the ancient underground water system and wade through Hezekiah's Tunnel — hewn by hand 2,700 years ago and still running with spring water. Bring water shoes and a flashlight.
