The Western Wall Tunnels
Signature tour · ~1 hour · 1,200 NIS, private group

Walk the length of the hidden Western Wall — 2,000 years old — as it runs deep beneath the Muslim Quarter. We pass the colossal Herodian stones, including one of the largest building stones ever set by human hands, and stand at the point closest to where the Temple once stood. This is the essential, awe-first encounter with the Wall almost no one sees.

Already walked the classic route? Two alternative routes for returning visitors (same length and price):

  • The Great Bridge (Wilson's Arch) — the great bridge that once carried priests and pilgrims toward the Temple Mount, opened to the public only recently.

  • The New Excavations — beneath the plaza, the most recently unearthed layers, where the dig itself is the story.

The City of David
Signature tour · ~2 hours · 1,800 NIS, private group

The 3,000-year-old core where Jerusalem began. We descend into the ancient underground water system and wade through Hezekiah's Tunnel — hewn by hand 2,700 years ago and still running with spring water. Bring water shoes and a flashlight. This is the most hands-on, most unforgettable tour I offer, and the one families remember most. (Optional line if true for you: "Prefer to stay dry? Ask me about the alternative route.")

Been before, or want the latest digs?

  • The New Excavations — including the great Pilgrimage Road climbing from the Pool of Siloam toward the Temple Mount: the very street pilgrims walked 2,000 years ago, uncovered in our own lifetime.
